A very decorative early 20th century French three drawer side cabinet.

The cabinet is made from mahogany, satinwood, rosewood and marquetry inlays.

The cabinet is oval in shape and stands on four cabriole legs that have gilt brass toes.

The cabinet also has a gilt brass edge and gallery to the top and a kidney shaped lower tray.

The top and the tray have marquetry panels surrounded with chequered inlay and cross banded in rosewood.

The three solid oak line drawers are inlaid to match the top and have gilt brass keyhole escutcheons.

The two sides and the back of the cabinet have large satinwood panels inlaid with marquetry flowers.

The cabinet is in good condition and has an original key to fit the three locks.

The polish has been sympathetically restored and the cabinet has some old long dead worm holes that have been re-treated. (Circa 1900)
