Fine Victorian Rosewood Screen

A middle of the 19th century Victorian rosewood screen.

The floor standing screen contains  a finely sewn needlework panel depicting a young child being shown how to play a drum by a gentleman in cavalier dress.

The screen is constructed from quality carved rosewood with a pair of cabriole legs at each end of turned and fluted pillar supports.

The supports have carved finials at the top and the legs are raised on brass casters.

The screen is in very good condition though the silk at the back has perished.
