Mein of Kelso Dressing Mirror

An early 19th century Georgian mahogany swing dressing mirror.

The dressing mirror is attributed to James Mein, Roxburghe Street Kelso.

The original oblong mirror plate is held in a mahogany frame and back that is suspended between two vertical arms with reeded edges.

The supporting arms sit on a gallery back tray style base with a reeded detail to the top of the gallery and tray edges.

The mirror frame and stand are made from excellent quality mahogany and are in very good condition. (Circa 1830)
