A fine early 19th century Regency rosewood standish.

The standish has a cedar wood lined drawer which has a manufacturer's label for 'Dalton of Soho Square London' and a gilt brass serpent handle.

The standish has a flared raised rim and in the centre there are two pen trays, two compartments for ink wells and a central lidded compartment.

The standish is in very good condition with very fine grained rosewood.

There are no ink wells so it is priced accordingly. (Circa 1820)
