A 19th century Victorian case of birds.

The case comprising of four grouse, a black male cock, female grey hen and two red grouse all modelled on a realistic Scottish moor setting.

The case is strained wood with glazing to three sides and at the back of the interior is a paper label with "Presented by A M Leay Bird Stuffer 65 Church Street Inverness" printed on.

The birds are in good condition, the case does have some chips. (Circa 1870)
