A late 19th century four fold leather covered screen.

The screen has four hinged panels that are hand painted with eight scenes of London and have brass studded edges.

The scenes are of a water fountain in a square, the tower of London, a coaching tavern, Westminster Abbey, a street scene, St Paul's Cathedral, Temple Bar and a gate in the Wall of London.

The back of the screen is plain with a coach line pattern around each panel.

The painted panels are in good condition but the leather does have a few splits in places.

The screen would look great hung flat on a large wall. (Circa 1870)
