A late 19th century Victorian carved wood rocking horse.

The horse is a very good shape with the head turned slightly to the right and the mouth open.

The horse is on a curved bow shaped base, the curved rockers bend inwards, have a panelled standing platform in the middle and are joined at each end with a turned pillar.

As you can see the horse is in un-restored condition and has just part of the saddle and reins and no mane.

The horse has been painted brown and is separate from the rockers to which it would have been bolted and is sold as seen. (Circa 1880)
