A late 18th century to early 19th century Scottish toddy ladle.

The ladle comprises a long and spiral horn handle with a silver metal oval bowl and tip.

The ladle does show signs of the remains of silver hallmarks worn out by polishing.

The silver metal bowl is fastened to the horn handle with very small rivets which have produced a fine row of five silver metal dots to decorate the handle.

The ladle is in good condition with traces of what might have been silver hall marks. (Circa 1800)

Length 30.5cm (12 inches)
