A mid 19th century rosewood jewel box with brass inlay to the top and front.
The hinged lid opens to reveal a lift out top tray and an open lower storage level which are both lined with blue velvet. This box provides flexible, comprehensive storage space with beautiful floral design brass inlay to the exterior.
An attractive antique jewellery box in good condition with a re-fitted interior and featuring a working lock and key. (Circa 1850)
