A late 19th to early 20th century Edwardian mahogany cabinet bookcase.

The bookcase has two glazed astragal glazed doors with nine panes of glass in each, two drawers and two cupboard doors.

The top interior is divided down the centre and has four adjustable shelves to each of the two sides.

The pair of drawers have mahogany drawer linings and embossed art nouveau design handles.

The two cupboard doors have raised carved panels in the centre surrounded by a moulded bead.

The doors open to a pair of cupboard spaces each with a single removable shelf.

The bookcase has a dental moulding to the cornice, blind fret work decoration down the front sides of the glazed top and cupboard base and stands on four square block toed feet.

The bookcase is well constructed and in good original condition and will dismantle into three pieces for removal. (Circa 1900)
