An early 19th century Georgian mahogany extending dining table.

The table has three removable leaves and stands on four turned mahogany legs with brass casters.

The table pulls open to take one, two or all three of the leaves and are held in place with brass clips.

The leaves can be stored in the centre of the table when not in use, the top slides open and the leaves are laid flat under the rails.

The fine turned legs taper and have turned decorations and the under frame of the table has reeded corners as a decoration.

When fully extended the table will take ten people comfortably and six people when the table is closed with no leaves.

The table is in good condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored, the brass clips are period style replacements. (Circa 1810)
