Japanese Kutani Porcelain Plaque


A late 19th century to early 20th century Japanese Kutani porcelain plaque.

This large Meiji period (1864-1912) plaque has hand painted scenes showing a group of Japanese children at play and another group pulling a hand cart against a background of buildings and trees.

The plaque has a border of sample patterns and is signed underneath in red.

The plaque is in very good condition. (Circa 1900)
