A pair of 19th century Victorian oak Houses of Parliament chairs.

The oak chairs were designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin and made by Holland & Sons, Gillows and other cabinet makers for the newly constructed Houses of Parliament.

The chairs are strongly made with cross stretchers and raised on brass casters.

The chairs are in original condition, in need of re-upholstering and have had the polished waxed. (Circa 1880)
