A late 19th century Victorian Regency style rosewood arm chair.

The chair has a square top rail with a marquetry inlaid panel of ivory and boxwood above a quadruple 'X' back centre splat.

The swept arms have a carved acanthus where the hand rests and are supported on curved uprights with acanthus around the top edge.

The chair has square tapering legs, the front legs are inlaid with harebells and a star to the top and this is repeated on the other sides of the leg.

The chair is in good condition but the upholstery is worn. (Circa 1890)
