An early 20th century George V sterling silver and tortoise shell trinket box.

The circular box is raised on three short cabriole legs and a lift off silver lid with a domed tortoise shell top inlaid with silver 'Pique work'.

The box and lid have sterling silver hall marks for Birmingham, the year 1912 and the maker's mark fro E S Barnsley & Co.

The box is in good condition though the velvet interior lining is worn. (Circa 1912)
