Unusual Burmese Gongs on Stand

An unusual late 19th century Black Forest carved oak stand holding three Burmese bronze "Kyeezee" gongs and a beater.

The oak stand is carved to simulate oak branches, leaves and acorns and has a pair of cabriole legs at each end, three cross beams and a pointed top.

The three graduated  Kyeezee bronze gongs are suspended on replacement cords and when struck resonate for a very long period.

The stand and gongs are in very good condition. (Circa 1880)
