Victorian Oak Decanter Box
A 19th century Victorian oak decanter box.
The box has a hinged lid, is velvet lined inside and holds two original matching spirit decanters.
The decanters are square based with chamfered corners and the upper part of the body is hobnail cut with stepped shoulders.
The decanters have hollow ball shaped stoppers with hobnail cutting and a star cut top.
The oak box and decanters are in good condition, the velvet lining shows signs of use and the bramah lock does not have a key. (Circa 1860)
