Victorian Coromandel Jewellery Box
A 19th century mid Victorian coromandel veneered jewellery box.
The box is made of mahogany and veneered with coromandel wood.
The interior of the box has a lift out tray and is black leather lined.
The beautiful box has a disguised jewel drawer in the base that is released by a button along the back edge inside the box.
The drawer is blue silk and velvet lined and has compartments for rings, jewellery and a pocket watch.
The box is in good condition, the plaque in the top of the lid is dated 21st February 1863. (Circa 1863)
