Georgian Needlework Sewing Box
An early 19th century Georgian beech wood and satin birch needlework sewing box.
The box has a box wood and ebony line inlay to the lid and an ebony edge.
The interior has a compartmentalised lift out tray with five inlaid lids and thread holders.
The box is raised on very smart brass claw and ball feet.
The box is in good condition, there is a key but the lock does not turn. (Circa 1820)
