Georgian Oyster Walnut Tea Caddy
A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian hexagonal oyster walnut tea caddy.
The caddy has a hinged lid with a Tunbridge type knob handle and stands on six turned bun feet that match the handle.
The sides and lid are edged with chequered stringing and the front has a faux keyhole.
The interior has a loose compartment lid that is box wood edged and has a turned knob handle matching the one on the lid.
The caddy is in very good condition, though the interior lid is slightly warped. (Circa 1800)
