Rare Kashmiri Tea Caddy

A late 19th to early 20th century Kashmiri tea caddy.

The caddy is gilded hand painted and gilded wood with two lidded compartments inside and a working lock and key.

The caddy has a card inside belonging to Sahadev Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana, P.S. to H.R.H Princess Helen Shah Nepal.

This rare caddy is in good original condition with some paint restoration to the interior and the exterior is slightly rubbed. (Circa 1900)
