Regency Brass Inlaid Rosewood Tea Caddy
An early 19th century Regency rosewood and brass inlaid tea caddy.
The caddy has a hinged lid that opens to a red velvet lined interior with two tea canisters and a glass sugar or mixing bowl.
The canisters have hinged lids with rosewood veneer and brass inlays and are mahogany lined.
The caddy has decorative gilt brass ring handles to the sides and is raised on turned rosewood ball feet.
This very nice caddy is in good condition, the glass bowl is an old replacement. (Circa 1820)
