Regency Rosewood Tea Caddy
An early 19th century Regency rosewood sarcophagus shaped tea caddy.
The caddy has brass inlays, box wood edges, gilt brass mythical double headed bird ring handles and gilt brass hairy paw feet.
The interior has two removable rosewood tea canisters and an original cut glass sugar or mixing bowl.
This very good looking tea caddy is in good condition though the feet are slightly misshaped. (Circa 1820)
