A Victorian rosewood box desk or writing box.
The box is veneered in a wonderful grained rosewood and has its original but worn velvet material on the interior writing board.
The writing boards open to storage areas with a lidded compartment and inkwell slots.
The box is in very good condition though the interior shows wear from use. (Circa 1870)
