A fine late 19th century Victorian barograph and thermometer by Ross of London.

The mahogany cased barograph has a clock work barrel onto which a paper recording sheet is attached and the barometric record is drawn with an ink nib.

The barograph has seven circular vacuum cylinders stacked on top of each other and a thermometer mounted on an ivory back.

The mahogany case is excellent quality with fine box wood inlays, harebells and ribbons inlaid into the lift off cover that has bevelled glass sides.

The barograph is in full working condition, has had the case sympathetically restored and the works come with a 12 month guarantee  with Robert Taylor and son
