Early 20th Century Barograph
An early 20th century mahogany cased barograph.
The barograph case is glazed and has a single record sheet storage drawer in the base.
The barograph has a clockwork slowly revolving drum which has a paper record sheet attached.
The barometric pressure is recorded by a nib resting on the sheet and leaves a track of the rising and falling of the air pressure.
The barograph is in good working order and comes with a 12 month guarentee provided by Robert E Taylor & Son.

This item has been used as a prop in the television detective drama "VERA" which is mostly filmed in Northumberland. The episode it will appear in "Blood Money" will be shown in 2020.
