Georgian Barometer & Thermometer
An early 19th century Georgian mahogany cased 8" dial barometer & thermometer.
The case has a boxwood edge and a broken arch pediment top with a brass urn.
The case also has oval panels of inlaid shell decoration at the sides and round inlaid panels top and bottom.
The silverised dial has barometric measurements and 'F Donegani Newcastle Warranted' engraved on the front and black lacquered.
The glass front has a brass register dial fixed to the middle with a knob and above the barometric dial is a large mercury thermometer in a mahogany frame with a glazed front.
The barometer is in good working condition. (Circa 1820)
