Georgian Mahogany Cased Barometer
An early 19th century Georgian mahogany cased 8" dial barometer & thermometer.
The mahogany case has box wood and ebony line inlay to the edge and a swan neck pediment with a brass urn decoration to the top.
The silverised dial has the barometric measurement engraved and black lacquered with a register dial adjusted by a knob below.
The case also houses an alcohol thermometer in a mahogany frame, a small convex mirror and a hydrometer at the top.
The base of the barometer holds a spirit level with an engraved dial reading 'Spelzini Edinburgh'.
The barometer is in good working condition. (Circa 1830)
