18th Century 30 Hour Grandfather Clock


An 18th century Georgian oak cased grandfather clock.

The case, backboard and hood are all constructed from solid oak with a long dome topped door with brass 'H' shaped hinges.

The clock has a painted dial decorated with flowers and scrolls in the corners and the maker's name 'W. Jackson Thirsk'.

The dial has a date aperture and 30 hour works driven by a single chain hung weight and strikes the hour on a bell.

The clock is in good working condition. (Circa 1790)
