19th Century Brass Lantern Clock

A late 19th century 17th century style brass lantern clock.

The clock has a double fusee movement that strikes the hour on a single bell and the quarters on two bells.

The clock has a domed top that consists of the two bells, one inside the other with two hammer strikes.

The clock has two doors to the sides and one to the back for access to the eight day movement.

The brass dial has 'Edward Glasgow', the retailer, engraved on the top and the clock stands on short turned brass legs and comes with a wood plinth stand.
