Georgian Mahogany Grandfather Clock
An early 19th century Scottish Georgian mahogany Grandfather clock.
The clock has an eight day double weighted works that strike the hour on a bell.
The white painted dial is decorated with flowers and has the name D P Wyllie, Saltcoats (which is on the west coast of Scotland, North Ayrshire).
The hood has a swan neck shaped pediment with inlays and spiral columns either side of the glazed door.
The clock case has a long door of figured mahogany that is cross banded and the case body has a quarter spiral detail to the edge matching the spiral columns of the hood.
The clock is in very good condition, the works have been overhauled and have a one year guarantee. (Circa 1810)
