Victorian Lenzkirch Mantel Clock

A late 19th century Victorian walnut cased mantel clock by Lenzkirch of Germany.

The clock has eight day works that strike the hour and quarter hours on a pair of blue steel coiled gongs.

The case has a figured walnut veneered panel to the front and a reeded domed top.

The case also has half Corinthian pillars either side of the front door and is decorated with gilt brass mounts, to the front and applied to the Corinthian pillars. The urn to the top and wonderful ring carrying handles to the sides are glit brass.

The clock is in very good working condition, the works are signed 'Lenzkirch AG U 1 Million 606643' and come with a one year guarantee.
