19th Century Apothecary Cabinet
A middle of the 19th century mahogany apothecary cabinet.
The cabinet is fitted with military plate style handles, a single drawer and a hinged lid with a lock and key.
The interior has ten compartments each with a glass storage bottle and stopper and some of the bottles have paper labels.
The drawer below is released by removing the locking pin and is compartmentalised with a lift out tray which holds a pair of balances and weights.
The drawer contains seven assorted bottles, two storage tins with hinged lids and an original glass mortar and pestle.
The cabinet is in good working condition, the glass bottles do have the odd chip to the rim or stopper. (Circa 1850)
