A late 19th century Scottish rosewood spirit level by A Mathieson & Son Glasgow & Edinburgh.
The solid rosewood frame is mounted with brass and has two spirit levels along with the maker's name and 'Warranted 46D proved tubes' engraved in the brass.
The spirit level is in good condition with some marks from use. (Circa 1890)
