Regency Mahogany Four Door Bookcase
An early 19th century Regency period mahogany four door cabinet bookcase.
The bookcase top has four glazed doors with original gilt brass grilles behind the glass.
The interior has four adjustable shelves to each two door section, the shelves have reeded front edges and slide out to be adjusted.
The cupboard base also has four doors that have flame mahogany veneers in the centre, an ebony line inlay edge and are bordered with cross grain flame mahogany.
The base interior has a single adjustable shelf to each two door section.
The bookcase has a moulded flamed cornice that is break back in the centre and has recessed pilasters flanking the doors top and bottom.
The bookcase is in very good condition and has had the polish renovated in the past.
The bookcase come in three parts for transport and the doors of the top removed because of the weight. (Circa 1810)
