A Regency style early 20th century mahogany bookcase.

The bookcase comprises of a glazed upper section and a bowfronted cupboard lower section.

The upper glazed section has slim astragals at angles across the glass and on the door frame a shield shaped keyhole escutcheon with working locking mechanism, complete with key.

The inside of the door is fitted with upper and lower horizontal brass rails, designed to hang a curtain between if necessary.

The interior is fitted with three adjustable shelves to accommodate books, dvd's or items of differing heights.

The lower bowfronted section comprises of a single drawer with two decorative brass ring handles and a cupboard.

The cupboard and drawer both have working locking mechanisms and shield shaped keyhole escutcheons (Ivory coloured but not real Ivory).

The cupboard comes complete with key, although the drawers key is not present.

The interior of the cupboard has a single shelf.

This slim attractive bookcase would be ideal for an alcove or small room where space is scarce.

In good condition, standing on two plain back feet and kick out front feet.
