Victorian Mahogany Three Door Bookcase

A middle of the 19th century Victorian mahogany three door cabinet bookcase.

The bookcase has three glazed doors to the top with a glazing bar and scroll decoration to each door.

The middle and left hand door opens to a double cabinet with three adjustable shelves.

The right hand door opens to a single cabinet that also has adjustable shelves.

The cupboard base mirrors the top, a double cupboard with a shelf and a single cupboard to the right with two adjustable shelves.

The three cupboard doors have recessed panels and carved scroll decoration matching the top doors.

The bookcase sits on a square plinth and has a flared cornice to the glazed top.

The bookcase comes in three parts for transport, the base, the glazed top and the cornice.

The bookcase is in good condition with a key that works the four locks.

The doors to the glazed top have had later knobs fitted at one time which are not there now but have left a mark. (Circa 1850)
