18th Century Georgian Mahogany Cabinet
An 18th century Georgian mahogany single door side cabinet.
The cabinet has a figured mahogany veneer to the central panel on the door with a half round moulded frame surround and a central oval plaque handle.
The top has a moulded edge, the base has a high plinth, the interior a single loose shelf and the side have brass carrying handles.
The cabinet has been altered from a heater cabinet that would keep plates warm and still has its interior metal panel at the back. (Circa 1780)
