Oak Cabinet Attributed to Whytock & Reid


An early 20th century oak cabinet attributed to Whytock & Reid.

Whytock & Reid were fine Edinburgh cabinet makers in the 19th -20th century.

The cabinet has figured oak recessed panels and drawer fronts and two cupboard doors at the top that open to two adjustable shelves.

The cabinet base has four drawers large enough to hold files and have brass swan neck handles.

The cabinet stands on shaped bracket feet that has a moulded edge.

This very well made cabinet is in good condition, has a working lock and key and come in two parts. (Circa 1910)
