A small proportioned Georgian mahogany chiffonier book stand.
The chiffonier has a two tier book stand top over two drawers and a pair of cupboard doors.
The chiffonier is decorated with ebony line inlays to the drawers, doors and frame.
The book stand is stepped and has ring turned pillar supports and a shaped gallery top.
The drawer and door fronts are made from fiddleback mahogany, the drawers are mahogany lined and the cupboard has a single slide out adjustable shelf.
The chiffonier is raised on short tapering legs and is an excellent quality piece of furniture and a lovely small size. (Circa 1810)
