George IV Rosewood Music Stool
An early 19th century George IV rosewood revolving music stool.
The stool has a chair back and would have been for a cellist or a harpist.
The stool adjusts in height with a steel thread under the seat, the seat pad and chair back all rotate as one.
The stool has four kick out reeded legs joined by a cross stretcher.
The back has a broad carved and shaped top rail with a small cross rail between the back supports.
This heavy quality stool is in good working condition. (Circa 1830)
