Pair of Hepplewhite Style Elbow Chairs
A pair of Edwardian mahogany elbow chairs in a Georgian Hepplewhite design.
The chairs have a domed top rail to the back which has a carved decoration to the pierced splats.
The chairs have short shepherd's crook arms that have a swept support, carved detail and a twin reeded edge.
The legs are square and tapering with a 'H' shaped cross stretcher.
The seats are 'stuff over' and upholstered in a contemporary pale gold coloured material.
These strong chairs are in good condition, the 'H' stretcher gives them added strength.
The upholstery does have some small marks from use. (Circa 1910)
