Unusual Pair of Carved Walnut Chairs
An unusual pair of late 19th century Victorian walnut chairs.
The chairs each have different oval carved panels backs of tropical birds, foliage and flowers and carved top rails.
The chairs are British in design but could have been made in Australia or New Zealand because of the tropical birds and flora.
The chairs have turned front legs and a stuff over upholstered seat covered in calico.
The chairs are in good condition and have recently had the webbing and covering restored.
The calico covering prepares the chairs to take an individual's personal choice of material. (Circa 1890)
