19th Century Oak Chest of Drawers
An early 19th century oak chest of drawers.
The chest has five graduated oak lined drawers with brass handles.
The drawer fronts are each made to look like three separate drawers and are cross banded and box wood strung.
Visually the chest looks as though it has fifteen drawers, the centre of each drawer has a large brass key hole escutcheon.
The chest has a square edged moulding to the top and stands on four large bun feet.
The chest is very heavy quality and made from solid oak throughout.
The bun feet have some old worm holes that are now dead. (Circa 1840)
