Georgian Leather Bound Campaign Trunk
An early 19th century Georgian campaign trunk, the property of Captain Taggart.
The wooden trunk is covered in leather and then brass bound and studded.
The trunk is raised on turned wooden bun feet and has a pair of hinged carrying handles.
The lid hinges open to a red sugar paper lined interior and has a working lock and key.
The trunk is in fairly good condition considering the campaigns it will have been on, though there is a cut on the top of the lid. (Circa 1810)
