Georgian Mahogany Tall Boy
An early 19th century Georgian mahogany tall boy or chest on chest.
The chest is in two parts with two small drawers over three long graduated drawers to the top and three long graduated drawers to the base.
The drawers have matching flame mahogany veneers to the front and a cock beaded edge.
The drawers are oak and pine lined and have the original sugar paper linings to the drawer bottoms and gilt brass knob handles.
The chest top has a flared cornice with a 'fiddle back' mahogany veneered frieze below and the base has French style kick out front feet.
The chest is in very good original condition and is priced to have some minor restoration of any chips and the polish prior to delivery. (Circa 1820)
