Scottish Mahogany Serpentine Chest
A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian Scottish mahogany serpentine chest of drawers.
The chest is serpentine shaped to the front and sides while the corners are canted and boxwood inlaid.
The chest has four graduated drawers that are mahogany lined, have cock beaded edges and original circular gilt brass handles.
The top drawer has two divisions inside and the chest stands on shaped bracket feet that have line inlay decoration to the front.
The chest is very well made, all mahogany and in good condition. (Circa 1800)
