Victorian Mahogany Wellington Chest

A 19th century Victorian mahogany wellington chest of seven drawers.

The drawers have turned mahogany knob handles and are mahogany lined.

To the right of the drawers is a hinged flap which folds over the drawer edges and locks them closed.

The flap and pillar to the left are both decorated with a carved mahogany corbel.

The wellington chest is in good order.

The drawers have all been slightly extended at the back by having the back edge removed and a panel placed across the back. (Circa 1880)
