George III Mahogany Cellaret

A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany cellaret.

The cellaret stands on four square tapering legs with brass casters.

The cellaret has a narrow band of inlay to all the edges of the box shaped top with box wood edges to the legs and inlay socks above the casters.

The hinged lid opens to a bottle storage compartment with nine square divisions and has a working lock and key.

The sides of the box have two brass swan neck handles and the cellaret is in good condition.

The interior would take bottles that are 11.8cm diameter and 31cm high.
