Georgian Drop Leaf Games Table
An early 19th century Georgian mahogany drop leaf games table. The centre of the table top is reversible with polished mahogany to one side and a games board to the reverse.
The reversible top slides out to reveal an area fitted out as a backgammon board. The interior also has two storage areas on each side of the board to store counters.
The table has an ebony edge and inlay to the front and back and the table stands on turned tapering legs that have ebonised decoration and gilt brass casters.
The drop leaves have a single flap to each side to give support when open.
The table is in good condition with some minor chips to the board edge and has been sympathetically restore, The table comes with some 20thC chips for Backgammon or checkers.
